Dance and Singing Classes for All Skill Levels

Ballet provides the foundation for all dance forms and emphasis is placed on developing strong technique, following a strict syllabus that provides for instruction, practice, and examination to move from beginning through advanced levels. Each level has specific skills that are emphasized. This program is followed in each dance discipline. To complement the standard curriculum, we are now offering several new classes for younger students and adults.
  • Pre-Ballet – beginning steps for ages 3 & 4

Dance and Singing Classes for All Skill Levels
NEW CLASSES 
  • Parent/Toddler Rhythm: In this 45-minute introduction to rhythm and movement for ages 18-36 months, the children have fun "dancing" with a parent (or grandparent, aunt, uncle, nanny, etc.).
  • 1221 Jazz Boot Camp: This 45-minute mid-day workout revs up your day with jazz movements set to fun music.
  • 1221 Jazz Boot Camp Lite: For those who would like a less intensive workout, the 45-minute Lite version is ideal.

Uniform requirements for female dancers

  • Ballet (Pre-Primary through Grade I): black camisole leotard, white dance belt, white ankle socks, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun* with appropriate class bow or ribbon. 
  • Ballet (Grade II - VI): black camisole leotard, white dance belt, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun* with appropriate class bow or ribbon. 
  • Ballet (Advanced): Class leotard, pink ballet tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in bun* with black velvet ribbon. 
  • Tap (All levels): As above, with black tap shoes. 
  • Jazz (All levels): As above, with black jazz pants and black jazz shoes with laces.

Uniform requirements for male dancers

All male dancers from pre-primary through to senior levels are required to wear a white crew neck T-shirt, black ankle length jazz pants, white socks, and black ballet shoes, black tap shoes, or black jazz shoes with laces.
