"We started having our two daughters take dancing lessons from Madame at their preschool when they were three years old. Once they graduated from preschool, they easily transitioned toTthe St. Laurent School of Dance studio. They currently enjoy Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Jumps and Turns classes. Madame and the other wonderful teachers not only teach the children to dance, but strive to be confident, disciplined, and never give up. One of the proudest moments that we have of our older daughter was during her second recital, where she unfortunately got really sick. She showed such determination and courage, and performed her best for two days because she knew the importance of being there as part of a team. These are just a couple of the positive traits that Madame and the other teachers instill in the children. Madame’s love and encouragement for her students are shown through their joyous faces after class, as well as through the wonderful performances. We would recommend The St. Laurent School of Dance to any family who wants their child to not only develop a love of dancing, but develop a strong character."

"Our family loves The St. Laurent School of Dance. Madame is a wonderful lady who is both professional and caring. She truly loves her students and their families. My two boys have been taking dance with Madame for over two years and we could not be happier. She is the perfect balance between discipline and love. We are thrilled with the skills our children have learned, which we believe will prove to be a perfect stepping stone to their athletic endeavors. The new studio is lovely and the dressing and waiting areas are comfortable and beautifully decorated. We plan to keep our sons at this school indefinitely. As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist I have extremely high standards in terms of the types of activities we select for our boys and the teachers we allow to work with our children. Madame, Miss Makainai and the senior dancers who assist in teaching the younger students make the grade and then some. In summary this is a top notch, stellar studio and Madame is simply the BEST!. We are so fortunate to have found this school and recommend it to anyone who inquires about our sons' extracurricular activities."

“My two daughters have danced at the St. Laurent School of Dance since 2005. They love dancing for Madame and wouldn't consider dancing anywhere else. Madame knows her dancers and their strengths and weaknesses. She motivates them to work hard and to always try their best. Madame has high expectations of her dancers and she teaches them discipline. My girls have developed confidence in themselves and their dance abilities. The studio is a small community and like our second family. We would definitely recommend the St. Laurent School of Dance to other families. “

“My daughter danced with The St. Laurent School of Dance from the age of four until she went off to college, progressing through all the levels of the different disciplines, joining the Junior Performing Company, and eventually helping to teach the younger children. It is one of the few schools that offer classical ballet, as well as tap, jazz and singing. What distinguishes The St. Laurent School of Dance is the incredible attention to technique that derives from the Royal Academy syllabus, Madame’s insistence on discipline and respect in the studio, her quest for excellence in all her students, and her great love for the children. If a child is with the school for any length of time, she and sometimes he, not only learns to dance, they gain confidence, learn the value of teamwork and responsibility, and, just like kids in sports, experience the agony and the ecstasy of pushing themselves to excel and achieve personal goals. Madame’s insistence on excellence is apparent in the recitals that feature all the students. For the last few years, they have been at the Paliku Theater and the manager says they are the best dance recitals with small children he’s ever seen. Even the three-year-olds are on stage without a teacher with them, unusual for dancers so young. Being a part of The St. Laurent School of Dance family has been a tremendous benefit to our family.”
